Computer Aided Engineering (CAE)

At Precision Design & Engineering we make use Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as a principle engineering evaluation tool for design projects. By working in synergy with our Computer Aided Design (CAD) capabilities the initial product development process comprising of conceptual design and engineering evaluation can rapidly proceed with design iterations occurring in this virtual environment – the end result of which is a highly refined product design ready for prototyping.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) helps alleviate the typical shortcomings of concurrent engineering by simulating stress in the component or assembly under predetermined load case scenarios. The product is then refined accordingly as the consequent results of each analysis are interpreted.
